Duties: Writing - Writing projects include the weekly employee newsletter, press releases, weekly student/employee e-mails, brochures, pamphlets, BYU–Idaho magazine, and Web content. Meeting deadlines and effectively reaching a variety of audiences is imperative. Editing - Be a good self-editor. Don't turn in a mediocre assignment. Scrutinize your work until it is as good as possible. Public Relations - Adequately represent BYU-Idaho to the campus community as well as off-campus audiences.

We hire students who are looking to learn and excel. - Prefer junior or senior majoring in Public Relations or Journalism - Strong writing background REQUIRED - Excellent communication skills - Maturity and professionalism - Prior experience working in a newsroom or in public relations helpful - Knowledge of AP style - Able to accept constructive feedback
