| DESCRIPTION: | A course focused on bringing a student's research experience to conclusion by writing the formal thesis and presenting its contents to the faculty and other students. | ||

| CONTENT AND TOPICS: | Writing a professional grade research paper. Presenting a technical paper in a formal setting. | ||
| GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: | 1.Bring the student's research experience from either their internship or senior research to conclusion. 2. Write a formal technical paper in proper format, language, and depth. 3. Present the paper in a formal setting, to both inspire upcoming Physics students and to give the student experience in a formal presentation setting. |

| REQUIREMENTS: | 1. Formally write a report of the internship or senior resarch in AIP Format, including the literature search, a description of the research, conclusions drawn as a result, and areas of future research. 2. Report progress in a weekly class meeting. 3. Defend the thesis in front of a faculty committee. 4. Present the research in either a Department Colloquium, a Poster Presentation, or an Undergraduate Research Conference. |
