Topics covered include: national standards and goals, objectives, curriculum, interdisciplinary considerations, inquiry and conceptual change, problem solving and critical thinking, demonstrations and labs, safety, models, planning, scope and sequence, assessment, diversity, classroom management, professional growth, misconceptions, active learning, technology and others. | ||
| GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: | 1.Design an effective physics curriculum. 2.Design and show physics demonstration devices to teach specific physics principles. 3.Describe theories of learning. 4.Discuss effective techniques of physics teaching according to the research. 5.Prepare for student teaching experience. |
